One person was injured in a shooting in Plainview Monday morning.
Plainview police responded to a shots fired call just after 9 a.m. at an Allsup's near West 24th and Milwaukee. The caller told dispatch his vehicle had been struck by gunfire. Police report the victim was seen by EMS for a non-life-threatening injury to his right upper arm caused by glass and not from the projectile.
Police say they located the suspected gunman at a home near West 22nd and Portland Street. The suspect is detained pending the preliminary investigation for the offense of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The case remains under investigation.
