Four teenagers have been detained and jailed for ransacking a home and leading Texas Anti-Gang Investigators on a chase Tuesday evening.

Police report George Pena, 17, Timothy Lopez, 17, David Valdez, 18 and a 15-year-old female are charged with burglary of habitation, theft, unlawful carrying of a weapon and engaging in organized crime.

The four suspects reportedly broke into a home near Dartmouth Street and North Boston Ave. Officers were told that a victim had been shot near his head, according to a police report. Police report that the 15-year-old went to the home to talk to one of the victims.

Once the juvenile and the suspect were alone, Pena, Lopez and Valdez kicked in the front door, according to the report. Police report all of the suspects had guns.

Investigators say the suspects demanded money and phones from the two victims. One victim was struck in the head with a gun and one of the suspects fired a gun at the other victim's head, according to police.

The suspects reportedly ransacked the home before driving off. The suspect car was found by TAG officers that started a chase ending near Erskine and North Ave. Q.

EMS was called to the home to treat the victims but turned down going to the hospital.

Pena, Lopez and Valdez were arrested for the listed charges. The 15-year-old was taken to the Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center.
