A victim intentionally crashed into her attackers car to get away after reportedly being sexually assaulted.

The victim told police she saw Darene Brooks, 31, at Adolph's Bar and Grill near 50th and Aberdeen Ave. She told police she didn't know him and was at the bar with friends.

When she was leaving the bar, Brooks reportedly got in her car. She told him to get out, so he did. Investigators report the victim stopped in a restaurant parking lot down the street to get water out of her trunk. That's when Brooks reportedly approached her again.

Investigators report the victim fought with Brooks for a while before convincing him to let her in the trunk. She pulled a gun out and pointed it at Brooks, according to police. He was able to get the gun from her and allegedly sexually assaulted her in the parking lot.

The victim told police once he got back into his car, she started her car with the key fob and intentionally wrecked into Brooks to keep him from leaving. Investigators report the victim chased Brooks until her car was out of range of the key fob and stopped in the street.

He's held on a $75,000 bond.
