TONIGHT: A cold front will bring a breezy northerly wind by the start of the morning. This will be a dry front and morning temperatures will start in the 30s and 40s.

WEDNESDAY: Sunshine continues and wind speeds will drop through the early afternoon hours, highs only in the upper 50s for much of the area.

EXTENDED: A upper level disturbance will bring snow across the plains of Colorado and northern New Mexico. For us low level moisture will bring a cloudy and colder Thursday with the high only nearing 40. There is a slim chance for light mixed precipitation early with some showers mainly across our southeastern counties into the afternoon. Temperatures will quickly climb Friday with highs in the 60s and sunshine. This weekend more cloud cover with 60s continuing. There is a slight chance for rain to start next week, but nothing is looking promising for everyone in our area.

Have a great Tuesday! -Meteorologist Bobby Johnston
